Spud Monkeys - Fri 5 pm
Fronted by Crestone’s Keepher Pez, who opened the 2007 CrestFest, the Spud Monkeys play an eclectic style of folk, rock and blues.
2 Weeks In Fiji - Fri 6 pm
Here’s the Crestone favorite that got the crowd rockin’ last year. 2 Weeks in Fiji plays a mix of classic and new rock, R & B, funk, soul, blues and originals. The musicians in 2 Weeks In Fiji – Joey Bounds and Eli Dokson on guitars, Dale Smith on drums, and Dee Rudoff on bass – have been playing throughout Colorado for many years. What to expect? Music that’ll make you want to get up and dance!
Bhole Baba Bhajan Band - Sat 10:30 am
From the Haidakhandi Universal Ashram, this dynamic group of musicians, singers and dancers are inspired to ignite the world with love through upbeat Sanskrit and Hindi chanting.
The Star and the Snake - Sat 11:10 am
An acoustic music project formed by singer/songwriters Terry Lausch and Nanda Zipp, this duo celebrates the art of music through deepening their connection to this land and to the Crestone community.
Mikee T - Sat 11:50 am
Guitarist and singer Mikee T has performed with The String Cheese Incident, The Motet, Maceo Parker, Widespread Panic and his own band, The Peaceful Warriors. The Crestone Eagle has called Mikee’s original music “a compelling, thought provoking musical experience it’s hard to sit still for.”
Dude Suite - Sat 12:45 pm
Dude Suite plays jazz in the traditional Free Acid style. The trio is Chris Kroger on keys, Mathias Roberts on double bass, and Jim Price on drums. With an emphasis on improvisation and in service to the groove, originals mix with standards and surprises to delight listeners and dancers alike.
Rescue Party - Sat 1:50 pm
From Crestone rides…Rescue Party. Three singers, three songwriters, four guys to the rescue. Barry Monroe, Tedd Brumm, Tom Dessain and Lonnie Nichols are Rescue Party. Playing all originals, this collection of well-seasoned music vets will tickle your ear lobes. The harmonies are soaring, scintillating, seductive and soothing and like fine wine, the instrumentation is well aged. Don’t miss these guys, join the party and get rescued!
Leigh Ann Phillips with Bruce Becker - Sun 8 am
Singer/songwriter Leigh Ann Phillips combines classical piano training with politically and environmentally aware lyrics that speak to the mystery and beauty that surrounds us in the San Luis Valley.
Bruce Becker makes and plays his Plains Indian style flutes here in Crestone, and has played ceremony invocations for various spiritual groups, including a 1995 Worldwide Healing event at Red Rocks.
Jason Wilder - Sun 9 am
Sounding like a cross between the iconic singer-songwriters of the 60s & 70s but with a modern rock, pop, and folk edge in the vein of Ryan Adams and David Gray, Colorado based singer-songwriter Jason Wilder is rapidly gaining the attention of his home state and beyond. His charismatic stage presence and sound is quickly making itself known wherever he’s heard.
Mountain Sage with Don Richmond - Sun 10 am
Mountain Sage plays the kind of homespun country, bluegrass and folk that has been enjoyed for many decades on back porches, in living rooms, and at corn shuckin’s. Eric Karlstrom and Dave Dumas will be joined onstage by Wooddora Rose on vocals and Don Richmond on bass and who knows what else.
Spirit Mountain String Band - Sun 11 am
Spirit Mountain is an all-acoustic group, featuring guitars, mandolin, fiddle, upright bass and smooth vocal harmonies. Their music is rooted in traditional bluegrass and folk but goes beyond into swing, Gypsy, Celtic and “countrygrass.”
