Kids' Activities
The 10th Anniversary Crestone Music Festival will again have lots to do
for youth this year! The climbing wall, hula-hoops, beach balls and bouncy
house will be back. The Crestone Fire Department will again be presenting
water games in their water park. Kenny the Clown will be back with costuming,
a parade and his usual bizarre antics. We will again have various games presented
by the Crestone Youth Plaza, as well as drumming classes for youth presented
by “We Are The Drum.” Rosario, a student of Baba ola Tungee, will return to
orchestrate the workshops. There will be three classes on Saturday and three on
Sunday, with a Sunday evening performance in the kids’ tent. New this year,
"The Fun Lady," a youth theatre teacher from Ridgway, will host three classes on
Saturday and three on Sunday. Kids will write their own play, don costumes, and
have a performance in the kids' tent. Add all that to our limbo contest,
pie-eating contest and the men’s and women’s wood chopping contests and
whew…plenty to do!
