It’s official!

CRESTFEST will be held at Challenger Golf Course
Friday August 4th and Saturday August 5th.

Friendly reminder: NO DOGS. Leave your fur babies home where it's safe.

CRESTFEST will be much like the now retired Crestone Music Festival that you grew to know and love. We will still have a cool collection of eclectic and culturally diverse music along with an increase in contests and games.

The main differences will be no Sunday, smaller headliners and a much smaller price.
(Don't worry- you can still camp ALL weekend.)

The carnival will have “under tent” games for all ages with a prize booth, so be sure to save up enough tickets to get your sweetie that teddy bear (or Hot Springs Pass) they've had their eye on.  We will also offer safe open air activities and contests. Possibilities include, but are not limited to: large inflatables,  putting, pitching and hole-in-one golf contests, bean bag toss tournaments,  football punting, basketball shooting, volleyball, soccer and more.  Local Colorado libations and food will be available as well as arts & crafts vendors.

If you have any ideas for fun activities, let us know.

CRESTFEST will also act as an ‘end of the year’ showcase of presenters who’ve participated in our school performances. Our hope is to bring the youth and families of the Valley together to play, learn and flourish. In addition to a plethora of new activities we will also have Hands-On Learning YEP booths throughout the festival grounds where children and adults alike can learn a new skill, make music, art and laughter, all included in your admission price.

Curious? Even a little? Hope you'll join us this year for CRESTFEST!!

The Crestone Music Festival, also known as "CrestFest" is now in it's 18th year of creating a family fun, affordable music festival. It is put together by the non-profit organization Crestone Performances, Inc.  CrestFest's mission is to create a positive cultural, educational, and economic impact in the San Luis Valley by providing affordable access to the highest quality performances and presentations representing diverse cultures and traditions.

Crestone Music Festival engages and brings together community through music, the arts, and fun activities including group yoga classes, drum circles, kids' activities and an array of contests. Located just a few miles outside of Crestone, CO (a hub for spiritual centers and retreats in North America) the festival takes place on the Challenger Golf Course with 14,000 ft. mountains overlooking the festival. The festival has been home to some amazing music including: Leon Russell, Tab Benoit, Booker T., Edgar Winter, Tower of Power, John Lee Hooker, Jr, and so much more! The Crestone Music Festival also highlights local talents as well as regional acts from all over Colorado. All music and acts throughout the festival are multi-cultural and multi-genre, bringing in new and traditional music from all over the world.

When coming into the festival: There are three tents for patrons to set up chairs or blankets under, and the festival is open seating. Feel free to bring your camping chairs, umbrellas, and coolers into the festival, however, no alcohol can be brought in (coolers and backpacks will be checked).

Thank you Tom, Carrie and the entire CRESTFEST TEAM for making this festival possible!
